Amy Grant, a modern Christian singer and wife of country music singer Vince Gill, was injured in a bicycle accident earlier today. Around three o’clock in the afternoon, the incident happened in Nashville, Tennessee, near the Harpeth Hills golf course.

According to WKRN, Amy Grant crashed her bike while riding with a companion near the golf course near Old Hickory Boulevard. Luckily, the singer was wearing a helmet when the incident happened.

Grant was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center by ambulance. The singer received emergency hospital treatment there from medical personnel. Cuts and abrasions were among his injuries.

Grant’s condition is currently stable. The 61-year-old Grammy winner may be admitted as a precaution, according to the initial report.

In 2020, Amy Grant experienced a major health crisis. She was diagnosed with Abnormal Partial Pulmonary Venous Return (PAPVR) that year.

There is a birth defect that causes certain pulmonary veins to connect incorrectly with the left atrium.

Grant underwent open-heart surgery in June 2020 to address the issue and improve his overall cardiovascular health.

It’s unclear whether Grant’s condition would prompt medical professionals to admit him following his cycling accident.
