Prime Minister Narendra Modi during one of his recent roadshows in Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently held three road shows in his home state of Gujarat ahead of the 2022 Gujarat Legislative Assembly elections. The rally also celebrated the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party or the BJP in four different state elections, and during this tour Prime Minister Modi was seen traveling in an open-top model of the new generation Mahindra Thar. This obviously went down well with Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra, who via a social media post thanked the prime minister for using an Indian-made vehicle for his victory parade.

Anand Mahindra’s Tweet of appreciation for Prime Minister Modi, which was in Hindi, basically translates to – “Thank you PM @narendramodi ji There is nothing better than an Indian made vehicle for the parade of victory!”

The Mahindra Thar is offered in both a fixed hardtop and a convertible softtop, and the model used for PM Modi’s roadshow appears to be the latter. However, it is unclear whether the model is the adventure-focused AX version or the lifestyle-focused LX variant. However, the model we see here appears to be draped in the Galaxy Gray color.
