bjp: Bjp Bike Rally will cover 90 ridings | Ahmedabad News

Gandhinagar: The BJP kicked off a cycling rally in Ahmedabad on Wednesday that will cover 90 of the 182 state assembly constituencies due to go to the polls later this year.
BJYM (Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha) Chairman Tejasvi Surya has claimed the party will win again based on two factors: youth and the “tremendous development” the state has witnessed over the past 27 years.
Participants of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav rally yatra‘ will meet family members of 1,000 freedom fighters, Surya said while launching the rally on the 42nd BJP Foundation Day with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
“We will cover 90 assembly seats in the next 20 days. Big events will be held at 120 venues along the yatra route. Participants in this bike rally will also meet the family members of 1,000 freedom fighters,” the MP for Bangalore South told a press conference.
He added that the BJYM will play a “major role” in the upcoming Gujarat assembly elections, scheduled for December this year.
Meanwhile, on BJP’s Founding Day, Gujarat State Unity Chairman CR Paatil attended an event organized by the party in the northern town of Himmatnagar from Gujarat.
Addressing the local workers, Paatil said the BJP had delivered on more promises than mentioned in the election manifesto.
He referred to the repeal of Articles 370 and 35A of Jammu and Kashmir under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
