Hyderabad: BJP MP Raja Singh said on Monday he would hold a “Tiranga bike rally” here on August 12. The rally will start from the Akashpuri Hanuman Temple in Dhoolpet to the Bharatiya Janata Party State Office here on August 12.

Raja Singh said everyone should take part in the rally being held on the occasion of the completion of India’s 75 years of independence in 2022.

The rally will start from Akashpuri Hanuman Temple and pass through Dhoolpet, Jummerat Bazaar, Begum Bazaar Chatri, Siddiamber Bazaar, Gowliguda, Koti VHP office, King Koti, Bugulkunta, Abid junction and end at BJP office.

Raja Singh said Prime Minister Narendra Modi called “Har Ghar Tiranga” (tricolor on every house). He asked people to hoist the national flag on Independence Day in their homes as a tribute to all those who sacrificed their lives for the independence of the country.

Earlier this year, Shahinayathgunj Police Station in the city filed a case against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Goshamahal following provocative statements he made at a Ram Navami rally.

In his speech, Singh spoke out against the alleged boycott of Hindu vendors in the Old City on the occasion of Ramzaan. He said, “If Hindus targeted traitors (Muslims) in the same way, they would run out of business and would not even be able to beg, because even alms are given to the poor by Hindus.

He added: “If Hindus wake up, all Muslims will be defeated.
