British MX: Lyng to host round two of Championship Series

RHL Activities are pleased to announce that the Revo ACU British Motocross Championship powered by Gulf Race Fuels will return to Cadders Hill for a round of the 2022 Championship on May 8th.

The interwoven elevated circuit near Norwich, which is run and maintained by the Norwich Viking Motorcycle Club, will host the 125cc/250cc, WMX*, MX2 and MX1 classes on the former Grand Prix circuit.

A sold-out event in 2021 saw Jeffrey Herlings and Ben Watson delight fans with a handlebar-to-handlebar masterclass to take first and second place, with championship winner Tommy Searle third in the MX1 class.

MX2 saw Conrad Mewse win with full points across the board, and Bailey Johnston who took 125cc honours, moves to MX2 for the 2022 campaign and will be joined on the second tier by last year’s 250cc winner Sam Atkinson .

Following the success of the round in 2021, Norwich Vikings have made some changes for this season to make the event more enjoyable for riders and spectators. Minor changes to the track are expected to provide even more overtaking options and improvements to trackside public facilities, including a revised parking area, new two-way public passing lanes, food outlets improved and more toilets around the site.
