“This 75th year of independence is celebrated as Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. We are enthusiastically participating in it and have launched a motorcycle rally which will travel to Sabarmati where others will congregate and all will reach Delhi on 13-14 August,” Central Railways chief executive Anil Kumar said.
Central Railway, Railway Protection Force (RPF), started Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations at various Central Railway stations on July 1, 2022. As part of this, bicycle rallies started in the divisions of Mumbai, Pune , Nagpur, Bhusaval and Solapur. The Bike Rally covered 43 stations covering a total of 1,665 km on the Central Railway.

A truck-mounted video wall and tape display show was staged at 30 train stations on Central Railway. The video walls showed films and other topics about Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Additionally, a tree planting campaign was carried out at 15 railway stations and 3,065 saplings were planted on Central Railway. Jal Seva was given by the RPF at 19 Central Railway stations and a Unity Run was organized by Bhusaval Division in which 120 people participated.
He also led a cleanliness campaign in 10 stations in which 152 RPF personnel participated on Central Railway.
