Bikes like the Yamaha XSR155 are certainly great, especially in the Asian market where motorcycles are widely used for everyday life. Instead of boarding an old moped or boring underbone every day, people who can save the extra cash can get something a little more punchy and a lot more stylish. After all, not everyone needs the power and performance of the XSR700, especially in the Asian market.

It’s hardly surprising that premium small-displacement motorcycles like the Honda CB150R and Yamaha XSR155 are extremely popular in countries like Indonesia and Thailand. The fact that they create awesome custom builds is also a nice bonus. This is exactly what Yamaha Thailand did at the recent Thailand Motor Expo, when it presented a factory-customized limited edition XSR155 in partnership with Zeus Customs. This piece of jewelry is limited to just 100 units and certainly stands out from the already beautiful XSR155 in stock form.

At a glance, the custom Zeus XSR155 takes the form of a sleeker, sportier cafe racer. To achieve this look, the bike‘s original handlebars were ditched for lowered clips. In addition, the front and rear fenders have been shortened to give the bike a sportier and more compact stance. Up front, a new set of headlights are flush with the triple shaft, while a slim saddle with a ribbed pattern and faux leather upholstery tucks things up at the top. Finally, the custom XSR155 features an elegant matte gray color scheme with matching blacked out elements on the engine, crankcase, and exhaust.

Apart from these modifications of choice, the Zeus Customs Yamaha XSR155 remains mechanically identical to that of the factory machine. It is powered by a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled 155cc single-cylinder engine. Thanks to Yamaha’s exclusive Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), this pint-sized engine is capable of producing 19 ponies. Now, I mentioned earlier that only 100 units of this custom XSR155 will ever see the light of day. Well, if you haven’t bought one for yourself yet, don’t expect to as they all sold out within hours of their unveiling.
