Men wearing balaclavas steal Land Rover, Prada handbag and expensive bike in Windsor


Three men wearing masks, balaclavas and hats stole a number of items from a Windsor property, including a Land Rover, a Prada handbag and an expensive bicycle. Thames Valley Police are now appealing for witnesses and information.

The burglary took place at a property in Winkfield Lane between around 7.30pm and midnight on Wednesday March 30. Police report that the offenders were traveling in a white Audi A3 with license plate GN64 XMM.

Various items were stolen. The Land Rover is graphite in color and has the GM21 WLL license plate. In addition to the car, designer handbag and bike, the thieves also stole expensive jewelry and several unique IndyCar racing baseball caps.

The bike is a 2016 Trek Madone with Zipp 404 wheels. There is the victim’s signature and the number nine on the wheel. Investigator PC Megan Walmsley said: “I urge anyone who witnessed the burglary or has any footage of the area or information to contact Thames Valley Police.

“If anyone has seen or been offered any of the stolen items, please contact the police as soon as possible. You can send us any information via our website or call 101, quoting the reference number of inquiry 43220138671.”
