Police search for man after mountain bike stolen in Oxford


POLICE are looking for a man in connection with a mountain bike theft in Oxford.

A metallic green AMMACO mountain bike was stolen from Pound Way at around 4pm on Saturday July 9.

Officers believe the man in the image may have information about what happened.

Investigator, PC Jessica Brandish, based at St Aldates Police Station, said: ‘We are releasing this image as we believe the man in it may have information about this theft.

“If anyone recognizes this man, or if it is you, please contact us.

“You can report information by calling 101 or via our website, quoting the reference 43220305452.

“If you wish to remain anonymous, you can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online.”
