STURGIS, SD (KEVN) – The 82nd annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally officially ends in days, but some riders have already started the journey home. People pack up to go home after a week of fun and bike rides, but what was it like for those attending the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally?
“It was a very nice experience. This year turned out to be pretty hot, a lot of the days were really hot, but the ride is still great,” said Luis Mendez of New Mexico.
A couple of bikers say it’s their first rally in 15 years. A lot of things have changed but they don’t regret coming.
“It’s changed a lot for a long time, more motorcyclists than 15 years ago,” said Regina and Peter Bravo of Wyoming.
For a biker it was his first rally, he says the event gave him memories that will last a lifetime and he is looking forward to returning next year.
“It’s not what I imagined but my favorite part of the rally is probably the road. The rides are amazing. The hills are unlike anything I have ever seen before. It’s just amazing,” said Jamie Barts of Wisconsin.
Although the fun is coming to an end for this year’s Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, it has brought people together from all over to create new memories.
