Attendees are encouraged to learn more about the proposed Bouquet Canyon Bike Path, which is expected to provide a safe connection to Central Park from Bouquet Canyon Road.
Santa Clarita residents are invited to attend a public meeting on Wednesday, August 24 to learn more about the Saugus Phase 1: Bouquet Canyon Bike Trail to Central Park project, said Carrie Lujan, public information officer for the City of Santa Clarita.
At the public meeting, attendees can hear the city’s project leaders talk about the trail and its plan to provide a cycling and walking route to connect the two locations without the danger of vehicular traffic.
The Bouquet Canyon Bike Trail is expected to improve the city-to-Saugus trail system along the south side of Bouquet Creek, which aims to provide a safe and healthy way for pedestrians and cyclists to access central park of Route du Canyon des Bouquets.
The meeting is scheduled at Trek Bicycle Santa Clarita Saugus from 4-6pm with light refreshments.
The location of Trek Bicycle Saugus is at 26625 Canyon Bouquet Road.
